The two brothers combined their love for coffee and their interest in renewable energy to create their first ever solar roaster out of a satellite dish and 100 plastic mirrors, making not only an amazing cup of coffee but some of the most eco-friendly ever made.

Recipes for food and medicine will be offered and discussion of specific health issues encouraged.
All classes are taught by Melissa Salierno. Melissa is a Certified Family, Consulting and Master Herbalist has been studying natural healing for 18 years. She currently teaches Herbalism courses at Trinidad Jr. State College and is a private consultant for those seeking a safer, more natural approach to healing. Raw for Life presents “Ending Diabetes in 30 days!”, a DVD production by David Wolfe, leading nutritionalist and raw food enthusiast. This is a fascinating movie documenting the journey of 6 individuals dedicated to ending their diabetic condition through eating only raw foods. This takes place at the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center in Arizona, and is a profound statement about how our bodies can heal when given a chance. A conversation will follow on the benefits of a raw food diet and how to accommodate this is one’s life! I have been a professional chef on and off for over 30 years, owning and operating the first organic restaurant in Colorado Springs, as well as owning my own catering company. I have dedicated much of my life to understanding the relationships we have to the Earth, food and our bodies. Recently returning from Bali, Indonesia, I met David Wolfe at his wonderful presentation on the superfood Raw Cocoa!
